An homage to the Nord Express train

Inspired by the Nord Express train poster, designer Angus MacPherson took his interpretation on the art deco typeface that travelled across Europe. It has a great heavy weight and the geometrical shapes make it a fun typeface to set playfully as a headline or on a poster. The typeface is uppercase only, but it does offer a select few lowercase glyphs, basic punctuation glyphs and numbers.

What are desktop typefaces

A typeface that is sold with a licence to use on your desktop and send artwork files to a printer. The majority of our typefaces are sold as Open Type Format files that are compatible with both Mac and PC. Some are sold as image files as they are too complex to convert into a working typeface. This is made clear on the typeface descriptions but do get in touch if you need any help.

So long as you abide by the licence that covers the typeface, you can do what you like with it. We would love to see how they grow in the wild, do send us pictures!

A .zip file, that contains an OpenType format file.

How to install an OpenType file on Mac

Decompress the .zip file you have downloaded.
Double click on the file ending with .otf and it will be installed in fontbook.
If you use font managment software then either drag the font file into that application, or from within the application click 'install' and navigate to the font file location.

How to install an OpenType file on PC

Decompress the .zip file you have downloaded.
Under Windows 7/Vista:
Right-click the font file and select install

Under any other version of Windows:
Place the font files into the Fonts folder, usually C:\Windows\Fonts or C:\WINNT\Fonts
(can be reached as well by the Start Menu > Control Panel > Appearance and Themes > Fonts)
If you use font management software then either drag the font file into that application, or from within the application click 'install' and navigate to the font file location.
